A little bit about myself...
I’m a native of Florida and Jacksonville is my hometown even though I have lived many years in Europe and the Middle East.
Photography has always been fascinating for as long as I can remember, but I began to pursue it as a professional by working with accomplished photographers in North Eastern Florida. One of my mentors, Naomi Olenek, provided me a foundation to tell the story with light, focusing on capturing each subject in “their moment”.
I continuously study photography at seminars, conventions and schools to keep up to date with techniques and trends. I’m an active member serving on the Board of Directors at the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild and a member of Professional Photographers of America.
My friends consider me sincere, easygoing and optimistic. I enjoy relaxing at the beach, biking, hiking, and going to movies and restaurants. I love my doggie Rhett and my grown kids consider me more of a friend than a mom.
